Expanding Horizons for Our Faculty and Staff

At Centro Superior Música Creativa, we actively support the international mobility of our teaching and administrative staff through the Erasmus+ programme. Mobility experiences are an excellent opportunity to grow professionally, exchange ideas and teaching methods, and strengthen collaboration with partner institutions across Europe.

Objectives of the programme include:

  • Offering students new perspectives by hosting visiting professors from partner institutions.
  • Promoting the exchange of pedagogical and administrative practices.
  • Encouraging institutions to diversify and enrich their educational offer.
  • Strengthening international networks and cooperation within the higher music education community.

The main activity of the programme is the teaching mobility of academic staff, though administrative staff can also participate through training stays, such as job shadowing, workshops or structured courses.

Key Considerations

  • Mobility must take place within the framework of an inter-institutional agreement between Música Creativa and the host institution.
  • The teaching content and schedule must be agreed upon by both institutions before the mobility is confirmed.

Música Creativa strongly encourages its teachers and staff to take part in mobility experiences to broaden their experience and contribute to the institution’s internationalisation. The International Office provides full support before, during, and after the mobility period. Staff are welcome to bring their own proposals for exchange, and the institution also regularly shares open calls for teaching and training opportunities with our partner institutions.

    Erasmus+ Online Language Support (OLS)

Participants are strongly encouraged to make use of the Erasmus+ Online Language Support (OLS) platform — a free tool offered by the European Union to help improve language proficiency before and during the mobility period. The platform provides access to online courses and self-assessment tools in multiple European languages, tailored to both academic and administrative staff.

      International Partnerships

Música Creativa has established partnerships with different higher music education institutions across Europe with the same focus on music education.

Música Creativa is an active member institution of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen (AEC) and of Asociación Internacional de Escuelas de Jazz (IASJ). These two organizations provide diverse yearly events for staff, teachers and students of European higher music education institutions to come together and share experiences through thematic platforms, conferences, seminars and other relevant events.
